Alan J. Winters, CPA, Ph.D.

Alan Winters serves as professor of accounting at Clemson University’s School of Accountancy and Legal Studies. Prior to joining the faculty of Clemson, he taught at the University of South Carolina and Louisiana State University. Mr. Winters is a former member of the AICPA’s Accounting and Review Services Committee and was responsible for creating SSARS No. 1 (which was the origin for the compilation and review engagements).
